NEURODIVERGENT & LGBTQIA+ AFFIRMING
EMOTION-FOCUSED & EXPERIENTIAL
VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON
$135/HOUR & SLIDING SCALE
My hope, as a therapist, is that by listening to you, I can teach you how to listen to yourself. You learn to pick up on your body’s subtle and mysterious signals. You develop a keen awareness of your thought patterns and the stories that guide your life. You connect with the emotions that have the miraculous power to help you process your most difficult experiences. All of these different forms of listening sometimes go by clinical names like somatic-focused, mindfulness-based, narrative, and emotion-focused/experiential therapy. But ultimately, they just help you to tap into your natural resilience—and not just in a therapy session with me, but throughout your life. I am a LGBTQIA+ and neuro-affirming, culturally respectful, and trauma-informed practitioner who is dedicated to creating a safer space for you to heal and learn in. Finally, if you are autistic, have ADHD, or trauma-related neurological differences, know that I am committed to providing the most relevant experience of therapy possible for you.

-

We figure out how to apply your new skills to real situations so you can shift the painful, tiring, and limiting patterns in your life.
ABOUT ME
As an Experiential/Emotion-Focused Therapist, I support you to develop a healthy relationship with your own emotions. In my personal and professional experience, this makes all the difference in the world.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors, and a Certified Autism Clinical Specialist. I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and completed an internship at Thrive Collective. I live and work in Victoria, BC, a city built on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen (Songhees and Esquimalt) and W̱sáneć Peoples.
I mostly work with queer and neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, ADHD, and trauma-related neurological differences. I rely on my lived experience and a practice of constant learning to deliver relevant and sensitive care to these under-served communities.
